Pruning a Psychopath

Haymond Gunning is a shifter of minds — a seasoned neurological guide leading a group of scientists through the mindscape of a psychopath. Their mission: eliminate the Darkness that’s spreading. But as the team carves a path through the patient’s prefrontal cortex, Haymond gets the notion this expedition is nothing like the others. Shadows emerge bearing cryptic messages, mutated beasts prowl just beyond the camp’s perimeter, and impossible weather conditions complicate their travels.

But nothing is random. Controlling it all is a singular entity, enigmatic and vile, whose sole intention is to repel the team from its dominion. If the experiment fails, the Institute risks dissolution. But luckily, Haymond has never failed to complete an expedition, and he’d do anything to keep his record pristine.

As lies and manipulation twist the team’s understanding of reality, paranoia sets in, and their scrutiny turns inward. Can they maintain their current course and complete the experiment, or will they succumb to the very infection they’ve been sent to destroy?

She revels in the destruction her Har’Mags inflict upon Parousia, but as the lives of her coded children fall into jeopardy, her resolve begins to falter. The Hacker Who Became No One

The Hacker Who Became No One Ebook

What is the price of life, and how many evil acts does it cost to lose one’s right to live?  These are the questions facing Axel Hoffmann, a computer hacker being extorted by a digitized overseer known simply as Little Eye.  The glue that binds them, besides Little Eye’s developing position as a parental figure, is the Cyber Conflict Control Unit (C3U), an underground organization suspected of killing innocents.

Tasked with improving societal cohesion, C3U’s four squads of highly-trained operatives move like shadows through the city, stimulating growth through disaster.  Except now there’s a sophisticated hacker doing his damndest to stop them.

Internal complications have also arisen within C3U.  Lies uncovered by the surrogate daughter and son of the organization’s terminally ill leader snip at the seams.  What happens when the core of your identity—name, birthday, and past history—all come under the scrutiny of being completely fabricated?  What happens to the value of another’s life when yours no longer exists?
